The Future of Math Inclusion: Equatio RPIP

The Future of Math Inclusion study evaluated the extent to which Equatio, a digital math authoring tool, improved educator delivery and assessment of math instruction and student learning. This study used an innovative, collaborative design in the form of a Research-Practice-Industry Partnership (RPIP), which brings together the diverse expertise of researchers, practitioners, and industry partners and shifts power dynamics so that all parties have a voice. As a result, the learnings that emerge help produce new knowledge for the field, help products to scale, and improve classroom practice (Stephenson, Banks, & Coenraad, 2022).
