Education system leaders gather annually for the Global Cities Education Network (GCEN) symposium, a dynamic, four- to five-day learning experience involving school site visits, collaborative exchanges, and presentations from experts, with a focus on specific areas of expertise from the host city.

Implementation cohorts engage education system leaders and their teams in 12- to 18-month, cohort-based learning experiences around shared challenges, culminating in an international study tour to observe cutting-edge practices around their specific problem of practice.

The Global Cities Education Network (GCEN) brings together teams of school system leaders and city officials from around the world to collaborate on common challenges, research best practices, and develop practical solutions that can be adapted across global contexts.
